A HISTORIC CAMPUS, SHARED BY ALL OF US.

Our Story

Galilee Ministries of East Charlotte began in 2015 as a special mission of the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina. We believe a neighborhood grows stronger when there's a place where everyone belongs. So, we keep our doors open. Through the generosity of supporters across Charlotte, we share our buildings and grounds, free or at a small fee, with groups doing good work in East Charlotte and beyond. What happens here grows and changes with the needs of our neighbors, from learning and wellness to faith, food, and celebration.

Longtime residents and newcomers of all ages and walks of life gather here side by side. Every one of us who walks through these doors makes this neighborhood a little more like home.

The Episcopal Church and the other churches in the worldwide Anglican community are committed to follow the example of our Lord Jesus Christ, who served the poor, the needy, and the outcast.

The Episcopal Church is organized into dioceses, of which there are three in North Carolina. Galilee Ministries of East Charlotte is a special mission of the Diocese of North Carolina.  If you would like to learn more about the Episcopal Church, click on the links above.
