BRINGING NATURE INTO OUR URBAN SPACE

Galilee Green

Right on Central Avenue, there's a place to slow down. Walkers, bikers, and commuters rest on our benches near the front lawn's edible landscape and butterfly garden. Figs and blueberries ripen on campus every summer, and neighbors grow fresh food side by side in the Community Garden.

Grow With Us

Join us for Galilee Green Workdays, as we plant, weed, water, and harvest together. Our Master Gardener friends often share a quick lesson on everything from growing tomatoes to caring for the soil, so you'll go home knowing a little more than when you came. No green thumb is required. Extra seedlings, perennials, and herbs always find a good home here too.

Sacred Spaces

The Meditation Garden, Memorial Garden portico, and labyrinth offer quiet places to pray, reflect, or simply breathe. They're open to all at no cost, made possible by the generosity of our community.
